I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. My current research focuses on the drivers of economic inequality, combining perspectives from economic history, classical political economy, economic development, and macroeconomics.
In particular, I seek to measure wealth and income distribution in data-scarce settings, and to examine how structural transformations during economic development and shifts in macroeconomic regimes shape these distributions.
My earlier studies delved into the impact of minimum wage policies on labor market outcomes and innovation in pharmaceuticals and climate change mitigation technologies.
